Story

In continuation to Singham part-1, Narasimham(Surya) resigns from his post and joins in a school at Kakinada as a NCC trainer. He happens to meet Tyagaraju(Rahman) owner of Golden Shipping Comany who happen to be his student Satya's(Hansika) brother. Tyagaraju, Bhai(Mukesh Rishi) and Danny (Dany) are scared.

Why they are scared and what Singham who used to be powerful cop is doing as NCC trainer in a small school has to be found out on silver screen.

Performance

Surya came with powerful action packed performance. Hansika looked cute. She performed well. Anushka is beautiful. Both didn't get much scope for performance.

Rahman and Mukesh Rishi along with Nigerian Danny performed accordingly. Vijaya Kumar, Nassar, Vivek, Santham and others performed accordingly.

Technical

Production values are good. Devi Sri Prasad's tunes are full of mass beats. Background music is in sync with the story.

Editing could have been better. Cinematography it's good.

Plus Points

Surya's action, dances

Breathtaking stunts

Anjali song

Anushka, Hansika glamour

Minus Points

Routine story

Excess violence

Lack of twists

Less comedy

Missing romance

Analysis

Director Hari started form where he left in Singam. He loaded entire story with full of mass and commercial elements. Though the story is routine with no real twists, director's screenplay evoked interest in viewers.

However He forgot to add entertainment elements in trying to elevate the heroism of Surya. One get a feeling that the embryos film is dragged.

Final Talk

Singham offers sumptuous mass treat
